I'm real busy here on the farm lately. This thread helped me to get away for a few minutes at a time.

The Gathering looks like something I would drive a hot rod all the way to Oklahoma and back for.

The buildings are very interesting.
All the cars are so great.

Your car last night when I was talking with dr.Dave but didn’t see you around….
Because I only know what your car looks like I suppose lol.

tried to get over there this evening but turned around and you’d left. Car looks fun

 

I was driving truck out of Michigan. I spotted and bought a '55 Ford Courier out of a guy's front yard in Tucumcari, NM. My daughter's boyfriend had never been out of the state of Michigan in his 27 years so I asked him if he'd like to come along when I went after the car. He wasn't really impressed with anything he saw until he got to the Texas Panhandle on I 40. He shot seven rolls of 35 mm film from Texola, OK to Tucumcari. All the pictures are the same, sky, horizon, grass and dirt.

 

Cow poop. Smells like MONEY

 

Starting the return leg. The advantage of the return trip is I don't have to drive into the sun this hour of the morning
