Event Coverage On The Road to the Roc 2022...in a Banger

I'm getting anxious and almost ready. Put things in plastic bags that go behind the seat so if it rains, they don't get wet. Change the oil and top off the transmission.
I'm leaving early Wednesday morning from Zuzax to Guyman OK. about 325 miles. There overnight and then to Bartlesville OK about 345 miles. I will do routine, in route posting with pictures, Pictures at the event and return trip.
I'm driving a '31 banger powered, A Cabriolet. It has a hopped up B banger that is inserted and pressurized. It has taken me 4000 miles or so since it was assembled a year ago. I have an overdrive and can run 65 comfortably as long as there isn't a head wind....across the Oklahoma panhandle, no wind, you've got to be kidding me.
I thought I'd post early so folks that wanted to follow along could find the thread.
I'm looking forward to meeting up with other HAMBers there

Not referring to distributor points entirely.
All wire connections at your Starter, Solenoid, battery, generator/alternator, grounds, and headlamps
I big very hard rain on the road can ruin your day. Been there.

 

Will be riding shot gun on the flat screen . Safe travels.

 

I hear you, ran all the way home in the rain last year...

I needed someone to step up so thanks for being the one. the banger has a Geo. Riley flathead. it gets the job done so there will be time to stop and look along the way. I'm figuring 6 to 7 hours of actual driving time each day. the majority of it is two lane. I don't want to impede traffic. for the most part most drivers have lost their sense of humor
