    The bent, oil canned and pitted speaker louvers on this '38 convertible / woodie dash are too much work for about anything but a stocker...

    so they jumped into my scrap metal drum and I filled the hole...

    I left the 5 little holes around it to mount the trim... [white]

    IMO... this will look great as the filler patch kinda looks like the lighter and ashtray insert panels, both having a headstone shaped chrome border... DSCN2875.JPG

    Re-sale red paint,
    When I install the lighter and ashtray tombstones and a '34 truck hood V8 centered in the speaker trim I think this one will look real good in my '30 coupester DSCN2880.JPG

    Bought a pair of these for $3.58 shipped... 4" wide x 2.5" tall... peal and stick... should settle in the center of the speaker trim.. s-l1600...v-8.jpg

    I cut out both the speedometer and gauge cluster, centered the speedo, filled in the missing sections and added 2 1/16" gauge holes...
    took the 3 gauge panel out, cut fit and welded in a section of 2" exhaust pipe to fill the hole...
