I'm still in planning stages of my 31 Tudor build and need some clarification on front drum brakes. I would like to use f1 or f100 drum brakes but from my searching they both have a 5 on 5 1/2" wheel pattern correct? When one uses a later model rearend doesn's that cause a different wheel pattern on the back than front? So I quess what I'm looking for is there a way to get 5 x 4 1/2" pattern drums on the front? Or is it easier to change the rear axle pattern?

Early Bronco 9" rear fits good under an A and is a 5x5.5" bolt pattern.

  3. 1. Just re-drill the front hubs and drums to the 4-1/2 pattern, no big deal.

    2. Just wondering why it matters if the bolt patterns are different, not like you are going to rotate the tires on a hot rod.

    3. If you are worried about a spare tire, just carry a wheel adapter you.
