When I was in high school, Kookie (77Sunset Strip)was driving around on TV with a nail head buick powered T Bucket. And that was the start of my love affair with T's. Started building mine in 84, at the time was hanging out with a lot of roundy track guys. Bought the body and the front end the rest was home made. First year it was finished, 87, entered it in World Of Wheels in Tucson and took second in class! Still proud of that! Been through three engines the last one is left over roundy parts 406 SBC. At 65 it's becoming more than a handfull. Want to go through it one more time and get it off 110 octane gas! When I first moved here I blamed the roads for the car's poor handling, it got the wobbles! Really wasn't much fun at all to drive. Got hooked up with NTBA. and spent over a month, ya work slower when you're old, getting a handle on driving a SAFE car. It's never driven this nice and I've owned it over 23 yrs. Never too old to stop learning.
