I was givin this old tach the other day and was wondering if you guys knew anything about it. On the back it says Medallion Instruments Made in USA, and the front reads Harman Marine. 0-8000 RPM, 3 inch face. There is something rattling around inside it and I'd like to try taking it apart and seeing about making it functional. It seems to be sealed up and I'd hate to break it so if anyone has any advice I'd be glad to hear it.

Searched around the interwebs a bit thenI kind of forgot about this thing for a few weeks. I just called Medallion and they can't help with gauges older then 1985. Anybody know how to crack this sucker open, without... uh, cracking it?
