I would sure like to know what it took to remove those fenders and, if the 1/4's were saved.

    1/4's were replaced.

....and thrown out by the last owner when he had them replaced.

A bummer for sure. It had been in a pretty nasty fire a while ago.

  10. 54 four door? ... dang! love it!

  11. Saw this on instagram.
    A bona fide Hot Rod!
    Congrats!

  12. I think that's part of the reason this thread got started. I know Ricky, Dave and I were talking about that. Important to get the truth of this car out there and not have it misrepresented.

Damn, just saw the vimeo, that thing sounds great!

  19. Hope you are not going to replace those rear fenders as they were..not everything was great in the "good old days"..

Those remind me of the horrendous fender flares muscle cars were made to endure in the 70's..

    ..but it is your car..

I highly doubt it'll get those fenders back.

It really sounds like a drag motor now that the side pipes are off of it!

Wow, to think as recently as '95/'96 it still looked that good (minus the wheel/tire choice, of course). I have to agree with a few folks who aren't fans of the rear fenders. I prefer the fenderless look it has now, but that's small potatoes. I'm just glad you're saving it!
