I have known about this car for about 5 years now .It was for sale on kijiji for along time now with everyone wanting it but no one bought it .Well any way its now mine after trading a 54 chevy 4 door for it that i bought for 2000 at a local swap meet .Now that i own it i am finding a ton of old pics and info on it.I believe the car was built in windsor ontairo by Richard Naklie in 1955 .The car is a 30 model a roster on a 32 frame. It has a old 9 inch rear end with a detriot locker .Also the motor is a 312 y block done right up for racing with a 3 speed tranny .Evey part of the front end was chromed at some point and is all in pretty good shape.there is much more to the car i will post later on.I will be painting the car red and putting it back to the way it was.The car is running strong and sounds awesome. This is it for now [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

    This car fucking rules!

Not a hugely historically significant car but FULL of history!

This is how cars were built back in the day.
I'm lucky I got to go look at it with CUTITUP53chevy (Ricky) before he got it.
He's already transformed it back to a killer HotRod with the few changes he's made so far.

Please tell me your gonna mold rear fenders back on it.

  9. Very cool. You need a tri-power for that y-block? I may or may not have an extra if you're interested?

Bitchin, I too am bringing an old 1950's Canadian A on deuce frame back from the brink! That's a cool car and a great score.

  11. Glad to see you finally started a thread Ricky! I still need to get over there and hear this thing scream.

It was definitely a good score.

This has to be the most lop-sided trade on hamb, ever..

Nice old build, and I can't believe the trips came with it, too.

Wow! Great trade!!! I'm not sure I like the rear fenders though, but red & with old style cycle fenders front & rear would be my goal.

    Great car

nice ride, drop that windshield just a skoche, and narrow the grille, chopping a deuce grille without a commensurate narrowing just makes them look ungainly and non-proportional.

Awesome! Glad you're going to redo it.

Although... funny how everyone was totally bagging on this car for being such a "piece of crap" in the last thread it had............

I missed that. I love the old builds. They all seem to have some quirks, etc, and I think that is why they'd be so hard to clone, if we tried.

Me too Frank, quirks and all... I tried to buy this car a couple owners ago, only missed it because I dragged my feet a little too long.:( Probably for the best because there's no way I would fit in it in its current configuration. I would have had to unchannel it.

  27. Even cooler!
