Here's a few pics of my good friend, kerrys', '40 sedan. Just a few weeks ago, it was a finished car, that he finished redoing in the early 80's. The old lacquer was "checking" in a few places, and at 72 yrs young, he decided he had it in him to do a repaint in urethane. He always told me that the sheetmetal was almost perfect.... yep it is! He's owned it since about 1959, when his dad bought it off a used car lot, in Ohio, where Kerry was raised. It had recently come from Cali. and was in black primer with a Pontiac engine and 3 sp. trans. It was his h.s. car! I'll post some pics of it from back then as soon as I can. It now runs a sbf and 5sp. The floor and chassis were done in urethane, with the complete front susp. and rear housing dipped in chrome. Thought you guys might enjoy seeing a damn near perfect '40.
