When you convert a 4 dr to a 2dr like this, how do you handle getting into the back seat? On "real" 2drs the seatback folded forward to allow acess to the rear - how are you doing it?

Keep the grill it's too unique to loose, even though it's the standard trim.

I don't use the back seat right now but I do have a front seat from a 2 door packard that folds forward that I plan on using. I have to reupholster the interior anyway with the door changes.

Something like this? I also thought about 56 Packard headlights. I love the look of something different, but I think I'm either going to do a simple french or keep it stock. I want the car to have some of that classic style like the Hirohata.

No quads or senior '56 headlights.

Go with your own custom trim ring in chrome in the stock position.

I love what you have done with this car. Amazing.

Here's an interesting front end treatment on a Packard from back in the day. I don't much like it with the stock fordor body but it would look great with a chopped car. The grille is supposed to be a Nash and the headlights look to be '53 Buick. The front bumper is from a 1952 Chrysler. pigpen

The back of this thing is really over the top.

Yeah it's too bad they didn't do anything to the middle of the car. The front is ok looking I like the stock grille better but I really like the back I might look for a spare cover and build a continental kit like that the car is too short anyway I need to get those guys with the 59 caddys and lincolns to say man thats a long car.
