Could a 10 bolt Chevy (62.5" drum face to drum face) fit in a '41 fendered Ford with two 15x6 rims @ 4" backspacing !??

62 1/2 inches seems awfully wide for a '41 Ford.

Stock 41 rear end measure about 59 1/2..So The chevy rear is about 3" too wide

  4. I was going to say too wide, too, but aren't you supposed to measure inside the backing plates, not over the axle/drum faces?

Measuring backing plate to backing plate doesn't give a true measurement of overall width because brake widths vary. I also say too wide. I run a 74 Nova rear (60.25") in my 41 and use 5 1/4" bs on an 8" rim

67-76 Bronco rear ends are supposed to be a natural fit into those cars too, but I don't know how many of those there are for parts in Italy.

Those early Broncos would be a good fit. I've got one in stock for if/when the 10 bolt gives up the ghost

Sorry I can't help you with that if you're running the straight axle. I've got mine subbed with a 74 Nova
