Ryan made us a great looking website. Check it out:

    www.oldcrowspeedshop.com

I really wanted Ryan to create it because he has a real eye for design. Even though we had to pay him Gazillions of dollars, it was worth it.

Let me know what you think.

In other news, I bought a black deuce coupe from some rich guy and a Buick Wagon from a guy that hocks magazines. :)

  10. Cool vintage look.

Ryan, what's that font that most of the text is done in?

I've been trying to find something similar for trying out that brass badge tech.

  14. I wish I had the skills to hawk websites for a gazillion each...that black 32 would be in my garage....so would the wagon.:D

  15. By the way Bobby, my friend Paul Reichlin is still looking for a single Ford "divco" if you decide you'd like to sell one from your collection...

  16. ahhh, that Ryan guy....he's so dreamy.....:D

but onto more pressing issues, what's the story of the dirt tracking 5 window.....now that looks like it's got story of it's own....

    Cheers,

    Drewfus

  17. God. As an art director, I wish I had an ounce of the talent you have. That site is brilliantly simple. Everything on one page. Tons of white. It reminds me of those old bonneville flip books.

I believe that font is "textile simple". Old HFS font, correct?

Awesome. Someone got it! Yeah, when I think of Old Crow I think of Bonneville... And I've never been to Bonneville. The closest I've come is flipping through those old Veda Orr books and what not. So I used that as my inspiration.

We might be adding a background if I can think of something clean enough.

The font is "Melvinsans". It's a really old Emigre font that I converted to mac format for this project. It's very close to the font that Hop Up used as a text font in their first few issues.

Nice work, I like the look. Couldn't find the Franklin hooded Dodge roadster project in any of the photos.

I got a speeding ticket in Dripping Springs, TX last year. Yeah, no surf there. It is hard to tell how fast you are going in those new rental cars, and I am not used to looking at a speedo. You can get a nice spread for the money compared to LA.

  24. Excellent. Thanks. Now, if only I could find it for less than $59 for PC! Hard to justify for an experiment!
