    Found this on the Ford Barn a couple of years ago. Plan is to chop,channel and add a 49 flathead. Rt side Frt A.jpg Eng A.jpg

    That one is really complete. Have you thought of trying to get it to run prior to taking apart?? You don't see them that complete very often.

    Great start. Restorers on Ford Barn reading this will be pissed they didn't buy it. They had the chance.

    Found this 49 ford motor also on the Ford Barn it came a Weiand manifold and two Stromberg 97 carbs. DSC00247.jpg

    Been cleaning up the motor and it looks real good so far. Motor is now at Flatjack in Oshkosh,Wi for total rebuild. A 72 ford mustang 3 speed bolts right up to the stock bellhousing . 20170206_125923.jpg

    Got myself a Midwest Fabrication bare frame and My brother and I set it up for the flathead and a 9 inch rear end with coil overs. Sorry all the pictures are in a camera and if I can figure how to get them out I will post. Frame has a 4 inch sweep and 10 inch z.

    Its always interested and refreshing observing the build take shape with ones trade or profession wrapped into it all. That has an aviation look happening...great info and visual on your build...thanks @chop job

    Those in the picture are Cleco fasteners which will be replaced with button head bolts.
