Wow you have the gift of finding cool stuff! All I ever find is "yard art"

If that coupe could smile, it would be grinnin' from ear to ear!
It's hard to justify taking anything away from original '32.
    Ya done good, son.

Love the video. And I'm tempted by that shoebox subframe--probably the closest I'll ever get to owning a '32 three window. :D

Some people should have to pass a 100 question test before they are allowed to build a car

cool stuff! I think it would have been fun to get it running and take it to a couple shows to amaze the crowds before teardown.

  12. jeez Jeff, don't you ever sleep?? You keep finding neat old Deuce junk and drag it home every week it seems! You must be running out of room in the garage . I swear you can smell out a Deuce in a barn in the middle of a section behind barbed wire under 10 feet of snow. Another great save of the original rat rod. Who says rat rods aren't traditional? But anyway they were just as ugly then as they are today so returning this old Deuce to glory is a public service. Where do we send our donations?

You guys know the real reason Jeff is working so fast? Cuz its too damn cold to slow down in Minnesota this time of year. Anything not moving is frozen solid!:)

Sorry for not having any progress on the old girl yet, im completely out of shop room and if i put a front end on it i cant slide it under another car so it fits in my shed! hoping to make room for it very soon and get back on it but well see.

The whole flatty and trans isnt going to the scrap pile, the trans is an OD trans and it and the complete overdrive set up is for sale, i ended up trading the rest of the motor (speed included) to a buddy.

The car is likely going to get a Y-block engine with hurst mounts, cragar adaptor and have a 39 trans behind it, and this intake on top

Thanks, im sure he would but there is a long list of others!

Damn man. That is super straight. I vote rescue it. Great choice going with a Y-Block and wack that front frame add on off. Rescue it and make it shine.

Interesting observation. As crude as it was some things done here may have influenced others in modding of hotrods and such over the years (had to start somewhere). It was a dream for one who may have had more of a liking of Jalopy racing than Hotrod. I retract some of my harsher criticisms albeit I feel @titus is doing an interesting return to a different direction in time for us to enjoy.
It was nice to cover it's unearthed period status
(quite thoroughly) as much as he did with us all.
Definitely no doubt stirred many thoughts back in the day from Crazy Hoodlums to "What in Tarnation is That Thing"...as demonstrated below...:D

If the original builder could only see it now. Great save Titus, will it be at 50's this year?

What a transformation.... Love everything about how it looks now. The flathead was the only thing on the front half that looked decent, but man that intake really lights off that Y-block. Really looking forward to seeing more.

Any idea where that lower radiator neck is from? Need something similar for my (heavily) channeled '33.
