Just a gas stop one day while my Sons and I were out cruising to a show. It was the first time all 3 of us were able to go together in our own cars so it was pretty special to me.:):) I had the picture blown up into posters for each of us.

  5. Glass '29 A roadster. 454, saginaw 4 speed. 9" on coil overs. A bit O/T for this forum. Started life as an altered in the 70's, ran until No Hot Rods Anymore said the cage was unsafe. I took the cage out and moved the steering to make a street rod.
Cris got sick again with cancer, and I haven't touched it since Feb of 10. I really lost the passion after she passed away. Hope to get it ready to sell at Pate. Just don't seem to want to keep it. Someone should be playing with it and having fun.

The two Pontiac "sisters" I used to own back in the late 80s - early 90s: a 1955 Pontiac Cheiftain 870 4-door sedan, and a 1957 Pontiac Star Chief 4-door hardtop..

one of my cars I photoshopped lower and put my name on. I'd like to change it to my 60 Chevy but I'm laid up in a cast and can't push it outside for a good enough picture.

  18. I have had the privilege of getting to know Larry Alexander a bit as an old guy a few years before he passed at the model car club meetings he attended. While Mike is still with us, Larry is not. My avatar - as a detroit area resident - is a tribute to the incredible customs Mike and Larry created in their shop. These guys are an Icon in the custom car business and also are a couple of great guys...

I quickly looked through the first 14-15 entries, and decided that this thread has no purpose or value. If you have read my personal information, threads, and checked my albumns, you would know what my avatrar is. This board is going away from it was meant to be, and being drowned in trivialties. I'm building cars; if you have nothing to do other than this, please buy a project and get back in the garage; it'll do you a lot of good.

For me, cars come and go, but way back in the 50's, I took a likin' to the iconic hot rod Lady Luck ... I've had a representation of this particular image somewhere around me ever since ... even on my right shoulder.
