OK, stupid question...What kind of plastic are tailight lenses made from??

    specifically older tailights?? more specifically, 1956 packard tailights?? I'm doing a little custom project and need to bond acrylic plastic to them, i believe i found the right type of adhesive, but i just want to make sure....i'm sure somebody knows this...thanks

    used to be lexan,made by injection molding.not sure ,now cost of lexan went sky high.came in little red pellets.
