"Little old lady from Pasedena" and pretty much any of the Beach boys, they just say cruizin to me.

Unless I'm in a muscle car then it would have to be Van Halen or ACDC

    Sorry, split personalities.

I wish i could cruise to something in my Model A ...can't hear shit:(

too damn loud in the car... too squeaky, clanky and bumpy...plus no interior and the trunk is not finished off.

If i could though, i wouldn't mind blazing down the highway to "the Living End" from Australia, the band rocks!

    or

    Europe - the Final Countdown

    We're leaving together
    But still it's farewell
    And maybe we'll come back
    To earth, who can tell
I guess there is no one to blame
    We're leaving ground (leaving ground)
Will things ever be the same again
    It's the final countdown...
    The final countdown
    Ooh oh

    We're heading for Venus (Venus)
    And still we stand tall
    Cause maybe they've seen us
    And welcome us all (yeah)
With so many light years to go
And things to be found (to be found)
I'm sure that we'll all miss her so
    It's the final countdown...
    The final countdown
The final countdown (the final countdown)
    Ooh ooh oh

    (interlude)

    The final countdown
    Ooh oh
    I'ts the final countdown
    The final countdown
The final countdown (the final countdown)
    Ooh
    It's the final countdown
    We are leaving together
    The final countdown

just got a new toon to listen too now ,i first heard this in about 1980 although it's perhaps a little older than that but the tune is 'dancing in the moonlight' by Thin Lizzy and it rocks whilst playing it in the car although the new compilation double album is fantastic ,it has them all............Marq

  19. Excellent thread.

Highway Star or Space Truckin by Deep Purple. My first real album was "Made in Japan".

Or just about anything by T Rex.
