Has anyone visited the beach in Allenhurst where the races were. I know we had real bad devistation here in NJ but I cannot get to the area.

Would be nice to do a fund raiser for the beach we had so much fun at.

  13. Yes I've been to the beach. Its all gone! I can't say for sure, but I believe there will be another event soon to boost morale and spirits. I'll surely keep you all posted.

  14. Gentlemen... Start your engine, builds!!!

Good news for us!!! Be prepared to start prepping what you have, or get to building! A new thread will be started soon. But for now, I'd like to give you all a heads up.

    Classes as of right now:
Banger, flathead V8, motorcycle classes will be 45, and big twin.

I feel the need to tell you as I have started to collect my parts pile and we all know this stuff takes time with our crazy lives.

Do not count out an Ohv class. But you can bet on the "war" above for sure.

  15. There will be a beach race! But you can also count on a circle track race as well! I'm still working out the details. Dirt? Banked pavement? Only time will tell.

  16. If you live in Cali or Texas. You too could be in for a treat, or more like a battle! I'm hoping you guys in bartering states will take a trek much like the states around NJ that ventured in for our "Race O' Gents".

It's looking like we found a special place in Texas. Still working out other details elsewhere. Stay tuned!!!

Wow Mel, sounds like you're about ready to start a franchise! Best of luck.

  18. Na, not really. Just trying to promote old time racing and make more like minded good friends!
