and you also ...i had a blast meeting so many of you h.a.m.bers i cant wait till next year, im getting there 2 days early ..just to make it more fun 2 days for me is not enough i wish it was a longer event oh how i hope mel invites me out again ...yea i put the car threw its paces a couple days before. i only used 2 gears the entire race until the 73b car came up he got me off the line i was like wtf i thought i wasnt gonna catch him that coupe hauls ass off the line, ill watch out for him next year.

 

I'm absolutely stunned... and simultaneously really pissed to be on the wrong side of the ocean!

You folks really came up with something special... reminds me of the very pioneers of speed doing their record attempts on beaches because there was nowhere else flat or long enough to get those early machines up to speed 100 years ago. For want of the occasional modern-ish building making it into the pictures, the pics do pull if off quite brilliantly!

Looks to have been something truly awesome, a very envious congrats on your idea and pulling it off so neatly. Hats off to everyone!
