That is one well built car!
That is great!

...and we think we IMPROVE these cars.
Theres no improving them for what they were originally designed to handle!
Awesome vid! Watched it twice! Thank you for posting.
Very impressive, most people can't pilot a fully built 4x4 through terrain like that! It sure is neat to see recorded proof of what conditions these old cars were originally built for (mud/dirt roads). I liked the part where it tipped on its passenger side - there way of righting it was to flip it on its lid then to the drivers side then finally onto its wheels, hilarious!
Car rolling ion its side cracked me up. How many people with their new GMC's , Rams, or Ford 4wd could keep up with that old Dodge. Not many I bet.
4wd, we don't need no stinking 4wd.
Really enjoyed watching such a great video. No fancy camera tricks back then. Thanks for sharing.
Damn! Who needs four wheel drive! Crazy how the just rolled it on the roof and back over and kept going!
gotta love them tall skinny tires...
And we complain about a few potholes!!
And you now have a reference point for the old saying of "5 miles of bad road"
Grew up driving in real mud on roads in rural Kansas- in 50's and 60's cars with bias ply mud tires. I miss driving in real mud! Wish I had video of some of those late night drives in those deep ruts. Walk home part of the way more than once!
