The turnpike cruiser in my avatar is a friend of mine. He is holding it for me. It will be mine next spring. I cannot wait to get it. check out my albums to see more of it.
My goals are to get it home and paint the white portion the same green as this car. I'd also like to add viking hubcaps. I already have a set of Nu Vue spotlight mirrors like the ones on this car. I may lower it but they sit really low now, and I want to add a continental kit.. The green and yellow make a unique color combination, but it is a unique car.. I rode in this car when I was 13 and I have wanted one ever since.. Sorry to hijack the thread.. I really want to meet as many hambers as I can..
Sorry my first post was deleted. The engine is a 368 and it was used first on the 56 lincoln..The guy I am getting mine from says it could cruise all day on the highway... I have been collecting accessories for this car(record player, fulton traffic viewer,2 nu vue spotlights, just need my viking hubcaps..
I grew up south of Dayton in Kettering. Live in Maryland now. May be in Columbus for the July show this year. Love your avatar truck!
Cool cool '60, I am waiting on Uncle Sam to get my driver. Government efficiency at its finest. Oh well. Sounds like we would almost have to go with a central location for a meet. Seems as though we have most of the state covered.
Cleveland area here. I do Thompson as a spectator each year. I also do Good guys each year. Will attend Piston power and Chopers show too.
I'm from Pandora, 24 miles West of Findlay 20ish miles North of Lima. By the way rusty loved your truck.
