A commission I started this week, in progress...

Not a fan of the wheels, not even close to traditional but the T ant too bad... The guy is a fireman in Jersey so I figure, if he can put his life on the line for strangers, he can have whatever tires and wheels he wants.

Thanks guys. Fool Injection, ditto Dan. Dan, weekly, you not only bring us beautifully displayed photographic art but you also bring the cream of the crop cars. This week, I'm drooling over that '40 Ford you lead off with. Sweet! Love the color, wheels and that KILLER stance! (Then the red pick-up then the Deuce roadster (art on wheels) then the Merc...)

So I'm at Chopped and agonising slightly, trying to figure how to kick things off. An inner voice says, 'pick the first thing you see'- which was this.
It's that kind of run.

"Spark Plug table" I finished last week

 

and this wooden sign I finished today...font & picture are from a 1936 newspaper ad....those bikes every week on the art show are sooooo neat !!

 

That is the coolest bicycle I think I have ever seen!

 

What a great start! Love Friday on the H.A.M.B. and I actually have something to contribute. A few renderings of a '54 Pontiac that was sent down to Winfield's to get some custom work done. Here's the first 2 for colour decisions and chop height.

 

Here's the car before the work started and the final choice of 3"chop, cruiser skirts, and Lancer caps.
