Nice and clean bro. Looks great.
I love the fact that you're going with a nailhead. That's the exact thing I was going to do with my '62 Skylark before I had to sell it when I moved.
good progress you getting there , you going to make it to steel in motion and make a run ?
Thanks buddy! I'll be there.
Thanks dude! We'll be there Friday. What about you guys?
Would love to have seen that.
That's my whole goal. Thanks Red.
Lookin' good! Car looks great in-person too! Good seein' ya' this weekend, bub!
Looking great! Sad I won't get to see it blast down the track for the first time.
WHAT?!?! No Flat-Foot at SIM?!?!?
HELL YEAH!! tearin' it up! cant wait
Heading up to Jalopy Showdown with Jeff, Dustin and Josh. I hate to miss it but I really want to check out the showdown.
GO BOOBIE GO!
Things are really shaping up. Maybe pics tonight.
Now that you have a pre-historic donk, are you going to airbrush "Fruity Pebbles" or "Coco Pebbles" on the side?
Can't wait to see it!
HA HA ~pre-historic donk!! Really excited to see this thing run!! Should be a ball!
I cast my vote for Fruity Pebbles, maybe with a dayglo sparkly unicorn on the trunk.
Radiator ducting? Does that mean the radiator will be in the trunk?
^^^^For sure! Ever see a Paxton-blown 401 in the engine bay of a 61 Skylark!?!?!?
I looked through your whole thread and loved what you are doing. I too am building a street freak gasser style car. 1963 Pontiac full sized Catalina. Still in building mode but getting closer. I mocked up my motor and twin turbo system for a car show and won "Best Motor" award.
They were laughing because it was the only car at the show that did not run.
I am mounting the radiator in the trunk as well. This is a mock up of the trunk area.
And twin fans and shroud under the floor.
I'm watching to see what you use as piping etc to transfer the liquids to the front and back. I bought a 50 GPM remote pump and have been looking at copper tubing to pipe the water. So I'm interested in seeing your solution.
Mark L .
No. I can't say I have seen a Paxton-blown 401 in the engine bay of a '61 Skylark!!!!! Tell me that you have.
He has! It's a wee bit tight.
OK, you got me... subscribed.
I fell into that one, didn't I?
Booby did you find an air hat yet?
Gawd you are tearin this one! I Love it!!!always has been my favorite car in the shop, ever since the old shop
Thanks dude! You've been a big pusher for me and we're not out of the woods yet. We got this!!
Fired the engine last night! Jerm is awesome! He did the shit I didn't want too and that's why it ran. Thanks Jerm!!!
