  1. Ok i know i know not another 94 thread. Question to all out thier. I've been doing research on the Holly 94, all of them. My question is can you massage more cfm's out of a ECG model? I know they flow 185 cfm's is it possable to get another 15 or so cfm's out of them? Thanks for any input....

Any mass produced casting can be cleaned up some.

    To get some perspective.

    Venturi Area Relative %
    0.94000 0.69397 0.78300 15/16
    1.00000 0.78539 0.88614
    1.06250 0.88663 1.00000 1 1/16
    1.15625 1.05000 1.18470 1 5/32

If you have access to a flow bench you can try smoothing casting ridges etc and measure effect. Ambitious, see how big the venturi can go, won't carburate as well but will flow more air.

  3. Thanks Hoop, that's what i was thinking but wasn't sure if that would be effect enough. I have 3 ECG's going on a Ford 302 Roller motor. The primary is a ECG-5 but they are all 1 1/16" Venturi's . I am right on the boarder of cfm's needed but i would like to be slightly over. Thanks again
