Does anyone know of a company that has offset water necks for 49-53 flatty's to clear after market AC/alt. brackets. Hot rods and Custom stuff used to carry them, but no longer do. Anyone know of anyone else that carries them? Thanks, Dustin.

I had exactly this problem, compounded by the fact I also needed larger diameter hose necks since I was using a pre-49 Flathead radiator ('47 Ford Coupe). I made my own by cutting off the small necks, opening up the hole in the thermostat housing and welding on some steel heavy wall tubing angled backward about 15 degrees. I preheated the housings with a torch, used cast iron rod and put them into sand to cool gradually. Worked great......solved my problems quickly and inexpensively.
