Nate Ullrich captured this image on Thursday of Vintage Torque Fest last year. This is a canvas image that will be up for auction on May 3. See what happens if you volunteer?!

Here is a link to the map of the fairgrounds. All you that pre registered, you will be getting your info in the mail this week. We sent out the first 300 pre registered letters today. Finishing up everything tonight for volunteers and advanced ticket sales.

There will be a pop up tent for Hot Rod Will Call. Go THERE if you pre registered. You will have to sign for your packet that contains your wristband(s) and your registration card. We are NOT mailing this out to everyone this year in an effort to save money. We spent $1400 on mailing registrations last year. This is $$$ that can be given away to a family that needs help financially.

If you do not bring your letter that has your #, then bring a photo ID.
Once you sign for your wristbands, you will need to get the car inspected.

If you purchased advance weekend passes along with your hot rod pre reg - then you will pick up ALL wristbands at the Hot Rod Will Call.

If you purchased advance weekend wristbands ONLY - then you will go to the normal spectator booth will call window - this will be clearly marked. If you need to purchase extra wristbands at that time, the person at that window will be able to help you.

Pre 64, no billet, no art cars, no modern EFI, no IFS on open wheel cars. Essentially, look at a car show pic from 1964, if your car would fit on your golden if it's iffy that's what the inspection is for. Trying to keep it as traditional as possible. HAMB friendly if you will. There is a criteria list on the website. If you are on here you probably get it and are fine.

I hope to get the Heap there this year, last year I had a head gasket blow out, so the car stayed at the hotel.
I did the headgasket last week and now the oil pressure pulses and acts like the oil is low, but it is not low, so now I am taking the oil pan off to look around.
I am glad I have a few old cars to choose from, my trusty Fairlane can get me there if the Model A can't.

Meet & Greet breakfast is scheduled for 730 am at the Sunshine Family Restaurant on 4th & Central in downtown Dubuque.

Once again, we have the entire back room.

Also, traffic may be congested for those coming in from the south where 52 and 151/61 meet. The road is in better condition than last year. Just plan for a slight slow down or delay.

As always, if someone has issues or needs Dubuque advice, let me know.

I would imagine local traffic laws will still be enforced.
