Duplicolor Rattle Can blue and silver
how about this old ad
I want the whole Cragar set....I'm sure I could find something to do with all of them!!!!
i have a red flake with the double slots like the one in the first pic, got it from another hamber, so are ones with finger bumps are rare?
I have a cream colored slotted wheel with a one hole towards the center on each spoke.
Its not got flake on it but did all of these come like this?, (got a flying man holding the wheel in case it doesent show)
All my 500s are like that
Here is a vintage Grant wheel that I recently picked up. It has heavy flake and finger-tip grips on the back. Super cool wheel. Wish I didn't already have a Superior wheel on the Henry J that I have or I would use it. It is currently on that auction site.
Here's a before and after on an old wheel a buddy gave me yesterday. Done with products from John Denich.
15" Superior 500
These are cool! Can you even get these anymore?
Here's my new 15" Moon wheel. The chrome on them is really nice.
Heres the one in my truck. Grant I think. Anyone know when they were made?
I have one just like this but with a nice, round teak handle... is it an Ansen??
Here's mine... It's a no name brand.
hey Joe kinda looks like that no name brand blue flake one for my 38 chevy??
Nice color and big flakes. Cool!
SoCal has just introduced a new line of MF wheels. Holes in spokes, 15". Very similar to the Superior 500. They look nice. I saw them on ebay. Sent a note to SoCal. They said they had trouble with the tooling so they were delayed until now. They said to get one now, when they are gone they are gone.
So, after all the trouble of getting the tooling right, they're only gonna do one run of them? Silly
I have an Orange superior on my valiant and a Gold Cragar hanging in my car room. Ill take some pic's and post them
Yeah, that's what I thought too. Does not make sense. I am going to buy a blue one. The ebay 'buy it now' price was $124.00.
Bought my about 6 years ago at Indy GG for my TBucket. When I sold the T I took it off for my next car which is now a Shoebox - pretty cool huh?
That looks exactly like mine, a noname also. Is it teal plastic, with both green and blue flakes in it?
Yep... got it about ten years ago when you could still pick 'em up fairly cheap. I think the winning bid on it was about $30 bucks.
that's amazing, it's the only other one i've seen like it.
Bought mine on ebay about 8yrs ago for $36 counting shipping. There was 4 pics on the ad, all of them showed it to be a filthy rootbeer brown, except for one. I saw a bit of teal in a spot on the rim. Took a chance, got it sent to me, and spend a couple of hours with cutting compound and had a nice deep teal wheel.
nope all gone, ( I have a blue wheel tucked away ) and the manufacturer stopped making them.
Happy...I love this

Actually older oem wheels would often mount that way ( Jaguar, Cobra's MG's etc). I'm sure they use this style as the bolt on style adapters have been around a long time and are probably more widespread and easier to find these days.
Those wheels are the shit however!
means a lot coming from you brother.
now thats funny.
