James - thanks for keeping this thread alive....nice pictures. Jeepster great shots as well.

If anyone missed it, I didn't get a video of Scott's run, but I found what I would consider to be a pretty accurate reenactment...enjoy!

So was doing a little tuning on the Falcon last Sat and decided to take it on a little trip friends farm. He owns a rock quarry by the farm that has a truck scales. Weighed the Falcon in and she went across the scales a 2780. Didn't think that was too bad.

Doesn't sound too bad at all. Just curious, but how would it compare to a stone stock Falcon?

On something completely different.....Being Pontiac guys, do you know of any good Pontiac OHC Sprint Six engines for sale in the area? Preferably one with a 4 bbl. carb and split exhaust manifold, that had a stick trans behind it?

Found one that looks pretty good,, but it's up in Michigan.

From what I read the '63 Falcon sedan weighed in at 2343 lbs. Remember these cars were originally unibodies so I guess my frame is a little heavy. As for the Pontiac straight six I would ask Alan Ranz, he might know were there is one.

I found this great video on the old interwebs of Ric giving his uncle a ride in Yesterday's News...

    A very cool video..

I also figured out why Marc runs that car so much faster than Ric....Ric apparently likes the light to turn all the way green and then count to 3 in his head before he launches...You can get it next time Ric!
