I have been using Hy-per Lube, says that it contains no Anti-freeze and is safe for all types of race tracks.

Wanted something to lube the electric water pump.

The only bad thing is, it has discolored my fast orange engine paint around the gaskets o_O

Also, got the old, hacked up wiring harness out from under the dash today, cut the seat brace and made up an adjustable piece, got the new harness in and about 75% terminated, pulled both seats and the carpet out to mess with the tunnel to make sure we had plenty of room for the shifter in this thing.
Had something to eat,and going to head back out to finish the wiring and get the seat and shifter squared away.
Pick up the motor Monday, should have the tank, pump, filter, regulator, and all the plumbing done Friday.

    So far so good....

I wish they were Aluminum heads:rolleyes:

Under the fuel pump block off plate, you will see the gray A body cross member.

Don't need the Dyno sessions or the better heads yet this year, Just going to drive on by through the smoke you

make, trying to get 722 pretty ponies to the ground. :)

Keep the turn signal on so I know where you are.:p

A very important "Know Before You Go" e-mail was sent tonight to all registered racers. Please check your e-mail and take the time to read it.

It contains all of the times of the event and other important stuff such as we have a designated parking areas for Mustangs...ha-ha!

    Norb:
You're 101hp north of what we made....Well....I have a confession to make.

That was actually somebody else's stroked 410" Windsor on the dyno that day.
I knew it was going to make insane numbers,so I hung around the shop and had Fred change some info on the dyno printout to read like it was my motor making all that steam. He thought it was hilarious.

By the way,I didn't have the money to run mine on the dyno, but he figures my motor should make a solid 475hp.

I wish I could have seen the look of panic on some of your faces!lol!621hp!Baaahaaahahahahahaaaaaaa!!!!!

What are you solid axle guys running for toe-in? I have mine at 1/8 ?

I would leave it at 1/8" toe in . as try to get quite a bit of caster as least 6 degrees.

I guess the faster you go the more caster you really need, i'm figuring on 125 in the 1/4 . i'm between 4 and 5 and was debating on to put the 4 or 8 degree wedge I have to put in. May just go with the 8 wedge.

I don't fast enough to worry about caster in my car only the ones under my tool box.

  21. I think 8 or 9 is plenty. The issue I had was that raising the rear of the car to get tires to fit etc, was eating away at the little caster I had last year so this year, went overkill. Its steady and straight but lazy as hell in a sharp turn.

Zettle, you called it! Front parking light housings weren't grounding to the turn signal buckets... Scrapped a lil paint off & it was butter! It's nice, brakes lights & turn signals work perfect with headlights on now!

They will in your instance. The management at Byron is the best...we all know that. They will let you take a passenger as long as you are running a partial pass or on the slower side. They just need to cover their you know what.
