Offenhauser 4-Deuce Fuel System for 348/early 409 Chevy

The Man-A-Fre shops at Old School Induction in Lincoln, Nebraska take another look back in history and is offering this 4-Deuce fuel system for a 348/early 409 Chevy. Man-A-Fre never made a unit to fit the 348's, but you can have the closest thing to it: the Offenhauser 4x2 alternative. You can pull up many photos of graffiti-clone cars and, if you look sharp, you'll see tucked away down there is an Offy 4x2.

This system fits the more available small port heads. Small port vs large port performance is negligible. Build your hot rod or roadster to be seen and heard! Not a roster loaded with snazzy specifications, the 4-Deuce is eye candy that will turn heads. 348/409 Hot Rodders - you are not bound by the regular intakes, singles, dual quads, or factory tri-powers. This is a new construction with a new, out-of-the box 4-Deuce Offenhauser Pacesetter 3-bolt manifold. The more powerful 4-bolt Rochester 2GC's are installed and controlled by the unique and newly machined, Man-A-Fre style, internal crossbar linkage and fed by an internally mounted fuel block. No rear back bar linkage control getting in the way of the distributor. There is ample room in the back for a standard-sized distributor. No fuel rail hanging externally on the side or fuel lines going to your firewall. The 348's have that extra intake bolt under each carb, usually requiring total assembly on the car. But with OSI's unique feature, you are saved hours of installation time, making this system a near turn-key unit. It requires no further modifications preserving the linkage adjustment and fuel line placement and hook up. The unit is bench tuned and read to go!

SYSTEM INCLUDES: Four required extended-length intake bolts; Two studs for the T-stat opening; One chromed oil dump tube with chrome vented bonnet; One extended-length pull rod, with linkage hookup, that goes to the firewall (cut to desire length);Rear manifold vent tube with rubber grommet included; Four air cleaner assemblies.
