Good luck, hope all goes well. I've looked in on this thread a few times before and it's difficult to know just what to say - your positivity is pretty amazing.

Cliff I just came across this post, don't understand how I missed it. I see your pretty much along in the process now, I wish you all the best. I have some idea of what your going through as I lost my arm in Vietnam in 1969. It wasn't easy but with family and friends and faith in God I'm a semi normal 65 year old.

I have had different prosthetic arms and am being fitted with a new myoelectric arm, I've always had body powered ones. I'm an above elbow amputee so things are a little more difficult.

I was always a hot rodder starting at a very young age and never wanted to do anything else so that's what I'm still doing. Plus I've become an engineer, architect, chef and certified ski instructor. I also drive the MG race car I restored with my brothers help.

Good luck in your rehab it's tough and sometimes frustrating but stick with it and the things you love to do. If you want to E-mail me you can at [email protected].

The MG as I got it. And http://youtu.be/aHApIvqAyz4 Me at 10:09 min.
