So, I'm putting a SBC in a 6v car. I could convert to 12v, but that would involve changing all the bulbs, knocking down voltage to gauges, etc... which isn't a huge deal, but, if I had a 6v starter for the small block, I'd be good to go. Only thing is, do they exist?

  2. Then you'll need to design a six volt charging circuit for a SBC. Then a six volt ignition circuit for a SBC...do you really think this is the easiest route?

and the six volt starting circuit will draw TWICE the amps of a twelve volt circuit
