Dennis, wish we were closer, we would be there displaying our cool plaques from your first class company. Appreciate the generous H.A.M.B. Alliance vendor discount on our last re-order. Have fun, Brother!!~Sololobo~
Unfortunate for me, I won't be making it this year. My '37 is still apart, so I won't be leaving the garage until it's done. On the bright side, I'm starting to lay the shiny paint on, so it won't be toooo long. I'm sure you'll have a great turnout as usual, Dennis...have fun!
lol- (chicken) Ill prolly be taking the truck and not the car. Wait! I havent driven the car anywhere - maybe I WILL take the car
I went and had a grate time. More food then we all could eat. And thank you to the woman who made the desserts. the 8ft table loaded with every kind of dessert you could think of. And my wife was not there to tell me I could not have that. I pigged out so much that on the way home when we stopped at dunkin donuts for coffee I didn't even look at the ice cream. Highboy you missed it.
Any one from r.i. street rods I need info on your memorial day week end show. what day is it? Some of our guys want to go
hIGHBOY= Moe took his 32 highboy out in the rain John i'm sorry staying home was your choice and maby not a bad one. The rain did suck.
John, I thought you were all done with the show circuit?? When are you going to get over all this about the rain and drive the shit out of that car like it should be. Don't worry, you've got a top and besides, it'll dry out...go have some fun with it...life is short!!
LOL... Obriens was fun- good to see everyone. Thanks to Dennis & Sue for going out of the way for all of us. I didnt take pics- totally forgot my camera. Was nice to drive the car for a change.
John, If I stayed home beacuse of a little rain, I would have missed out on some of the most memorable events in my roadster. 50,000 miles in ten years and a big smile on my face most of the time. Life is short, don't waste a minute worrying about a little rain. Paul PS: I only missed Dennis's open house because I was a Maxton, NC for the weekend.
To drive my roadster in the rain or not ?????????? I guess there is a difference between hot rodders and street rodders. Trust me, the car won't melt.
I have driven in rain, snow and even an incoming hurricane. Its just a car- drive it !!! The only reason I dont take it out more is because Im usually schlepping stuf around that cant fit in the trunk . Id much rather drive the 56 into the ground. The best years I had were driving it everywhere , every chance I could.....
