o/t what have you lost ,due to you hot rod addiction?

what have you lost ,due to you hot rod addiction? like money, wife, girlfriend, ect....and was it worth it?

 

mostly sleep thinking about what i need to do to finish my car

 

I have gained more than I ever lost,,,,I have more really good friends than most folks I know and am grateful for that,,,HRP

 

ive gained LIFE long friends, a couple debts i paid off somehow, a cool car, and most importantly, a fiance that doesnt even care about cars but goes to shows and swap meets, and will break up with me if i sell my hot rod! gotta love when someone gets how important something is to you!

lost NOTHING but some overtime hours to make the money

You said it all brother, money, wife, girlfriend, but the people I've met over the last 40 years of playing with cars, and the fun of being able to make a living in the hotrod business has made it all worth it. I wouldn't change a thing.

 

Lost the use of a pole building, & Ive lost Parts, in my parts. Other than that, just its just Gain! Good Friends, More Parts, Kids, Dogs (my wife was adopting a new Greyhound for every new car I got), & More Good Friends. Being a Gear Head has brought me work too.....Cant think of anything bad.

 

Nothing more than liveing "car-broke" for a week or two
