Looks like that damn near a complete 5 winder. Garnish moldings: Check! Frame boxing plates: Check. looks to be damn nice. They just don't make 5 winders anymore!
$4000 is a deal for a 32, they would call you crazy if it were a 31. funny what a difference one day can make.
I had seen it but was hestitant to mention it........another one of those #@^* 32 posts......that some folks like to rant about.....and how they don't get it.... A lot of money..but a lot of parts too... Still needs a LOT of work........fixing the floor and such.....expensive work IF you had to hire it out ( I would have to )...... I need a Roadster, a 3W and a 5W.......2 down .........1 to go... If I was not in the middle of my 32 3W project......I might be interested.....but there's no way I could match nickels and dime with Mr. Poteet. If he really wants it........he will own it. But he is not stupid....he will quit when he hits HIS LIMIT..IMHO.....
Randy, You are right about Poteet having his limits. It will be interesting to see what his LIMIT is on this one. For him to even be bidding it must be a nice piece. He doesn't buy junk, doesn't have to. Frank
I do not know about you ....or your idea of a Hot Rod.......but it does not have to be a 1932 Ford to be a Hot Rod...... BUT it sure does HELP...... 55 Chevys, 69 Camaros and 56 F-100's all can be Hot Rods.....PLUS A BUNCH of other cool stuff....... .
this one has a lot of that work done, i wonder what it will sell for: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...=4598408685&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT&rd=1
i wonder what its gonna look like when george is through with it. hopefully some of the other cool stuff he bought off the Bay will go on this one.
This one is at 35 Grand........ has a SBC, the 25 vent hood and drives ......would make a great driver IMHO with just a little money..... Lower it a little, drop the headlight bar, install some steelies and drive it.........after getting it roadworthy... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...=4598600785&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT&rd=1
