Brutal crash at the end of the Daytona 500. I feel sick....
RYAN Owns several hamb appropriate cars. That was a brutal crash.Hoping for the best
Lets hope its not a repeat of 2001.
I saw that car on it's roof leaking what I thought was gasoline and praying that the safety crew would get there. Brutal hit, I hope he's ok.
Can't feel good about that win!
We all tend to forget that these men are risking their lives every time the strap themselves into the race cars and even though they have state of the art safety equipment they are just seconds away from a huge accident, Lets all pray for Ryan and that the Good Lord allows him to race another day. HRP
Terrible crash. Any word on his condition yet?
Wow.....Wife and I were watching..not getting a lot of updates..hope he’s ok
Brutal. Hopes for Ryan.
For those who didn't watch the race.
Bad crash. It’s never good when the screens come out. Prayers. Snowman
yep.....praying he comes out okay to race another day......never a fan of that 11.......
Praying for him as well-hard crash-hoping the best for him
I'm not ether but even so you could see and hear the concern in his voice during the interview, even though they are all competitors, they are a lot like our community that they do come together when things go wrong. HRP
Where Ryan's car got hit is bad.... Praying for him and his family
Viewed the video and I agree it was one hell of a crash. However, I've seen similar and the driver is helped out and waves to the crowd as the medical people escort him to the ambulance to be checked out. Safety in those cars nowadays is incredible so I'm hoping for the best. I noticed that liquid leaking as well and thought the safety crew should have been their a few seconds earlier.
Praying for Ryan and his family. That was a sickening crash.
Jeff Gordon acted a lot like Darrel Waltrip in 2001 when Earnhardt crashed.
wishing the best.
the company I work for supports his animal rescue ranch.
They are reporting Ryan is seriously injured but it is non life threatening..... That is a little good news
Ryan & Clint are my "guys" Was out of my seat on that last lap cheering Ryan on...he had it...then SHIT.
LaJoie's hit on Ryan's door is the worst I've ever seen.
Prayers for him and his family.
why extreme safety equipment is required - same with other racing - people get all excited by wrecks, and helps get more TV time for NASCAR, etc - but, as stated, these guys and gals put their lives and well being out there every time that they strap in - wishing him the very best
Yes, I just heard that as well. That is better news then I expected to hear this evening. I'm going to keep praying. Gene
Good to hear, thanks.
Great news, I was expecting the worst after seeing that crash.
In a statement, NASCAR confirmed that Newman is undergoing further treatment and evaluation at the Halifax Medical Center, saying: “He is in serious condition, but doctors have indicated his injuries are not life threatening.”
Just heard the good news too. To be honest, I wasn't sure it was gonnna go that way
That's good news!! That t-bone hit was scary!
The Good Lord is in control, just keep Ryan Newman in your prayers, he probably has a long road ahead of him. HRP
The HANS Device is a major safety component that helped save Ryan Newman's life. I have no affiliation with the company.
I think I'm going to stop watching NASCAR until they outlaw / penalize bump drafting and the endless blocking. It's a stupid way to "race." Glad you hear his injuries are not life threatening. I've been a fan of all those guys in NASCAR who come up thru the ranks racing on dirt, and he is one of the best of them to come up that way. Wishing you a speedy recovery, Ryan.
