tmfcracing - So-Cal Speed shop in Arizona has the wood kits. 383deuce - Doug and the boys at Squeeg's in Chandler Az. Any of you guys are more than welcome to see it in person by stopping by the shop.
Well its got a blown Ardun flatty, 4spd trans, Quickchange rear, Original frame and body. Ill try to find some pictures from when he first bought it. It was kind of rough. Doug and the guys have done an AMAZING job on this thing. I'll stop by the shop and get some more pictures.
Here are a couple shots during the build. Plus a another car I drool over at his shop. I even included a shot of the man himself who is building it. (the trophy is not that big. He is really short)
Wow, that thing is spot on! I absolutely love it!!! Can you give more detail around the tires and wheels? RGG
RGG - I'll check on that and get back to you. Fronts are Halibrands I know that much and the rears may be the Rodders wheels. As far as tire sizes go I'll have to check and get back to you. Its coming apart for paint as we speak.
Brady, Feel free to post the pic's you took of the tear down for paint. I know she aint as sexy looking now. But She still looks good!! BTW it maybe some shade of yellow. (you didn't happen to see the rendering did you?)
my understanding, the owner wanted a clone of Milner's car Dougie said let's build it the way it should have been, I love that kid, wish he was my boy,, BTW that trophy is 9 feet tall, and everytime someone won it they took it apart to get it home and it wouldn't fit in the house, pretty beat up , now ya get a small one and yer name on big one. Doug's not that damn short,,A giant when it comes to the "look"
I love everything about that car. One question though. Why with everything so clean did you choose to put the mc on the firewall. Heat? No under dash room? Done that way back in the day?
