  4. Can anyone point me to posts/threads/articles/sources for converting an early V8 distributor for Banger applications?

I was revisiting the '40's hot rod thread and saw a pic of a LIFE magazine cover with a kid in a roadster...had a V8 divers helmet distributor on top of a Banger! So coooooool!!

  27. Umm is it the angle? or is there a staircase in the middle of your garage door?

  28. Is this float:
    a) Usable as is?
    b) repairable?
Doesn't look like you could pop it out bay heating it up, Would either have to take it apart and hammer/press it out with a spoon, or fill it wit something that is not affected by the gas?
