Wow! I love your build, man. Keep us posted. I'm subscribed.
NICE yes its a 331 I saw your engine being built!!! lol what a coincidence ...
Thanks man ,I thought it was out there till i saw yours. haha
Hey, nothing is too out there... Build what you love and have fun with it... and if it's worth doing it it's worth doing it right... so think three times, measure twice and cut a lot lol Best of luck!
Thanks dude . Lots and lots of cutting
I guess Thats what happened to that fire extinguisher. Wanna see what you will run as a tank now.
wow! beautiful! absolutely gorgeous!
I like that your doing something original yet it looks like it should have been done before but it really hasn't....only thing close to it is the purple people eater and that red plexiglass domed hotrod looking thing that cought fire. Anyway, make us proud with a good looking bobber style hotrod truck for once.
It might look like a trailer queen but I know it's never going to see a trailer unless something terrible has gone wrong...keep it up and rev it up
NICE WORK !!
Oh man is that beautiful. What an exciting build! The first comple of pages sort of left me scratching my head but man oh man did it get good.
I was smiling at the copper fire extinguisher too. Knowing how those work, that would be the last sort of fire extinguisher you'd want in a car.
Perhaps you could cut it up and turn it into a cover for the real pressure tank. You hid the air bags, why not hide the pressure tank too?
Thanks for the great thread!
Very impressive truck, anxious to see more of it.
Thank u all !!! This week I am going to work on Exhaust, dash wiring and lots of interior work.... I will post more pics as I get going.
My buddy Eddie Haines from Hemi Haines will come down in three weeks to help me run the monster on the car for the first time, and take it around for a spin after a year on the operating table.
Thank you for all the support! Happy 4th to everyone.
I like this angle...
That engine is not playing around....looks like it breaths fire!
This one too....it's got to be one of my favorite pics...you need to do another pic like this but all finished up
hey man i tried emailing you a few weeks ago to see how this was going, glad that its in full effect
man that truck is awesome , the mill looks like it would be at home in an old F.E.D hope you post some video of it when its running
bitchin truck!! what type of shifter is that ? dirt track style maybe, where you have to find neutrial before shifting the other side .
heres an old pic...cant wait to see the interior finished
This is one of the coolest and well crafted trucks I've seen!
all i can say is WOW!!!! very cool truck!
Ok yesterday not a lot done but experimented with some Diamond Tufted fabric. I decided to go ahead and do the bed inserts in black tufted. Not the easiest material to work with, but in my opinion came out very nice.
Ran out of material, so final product will come out soon, today, if time allows, I should have the the straps for the gas tank, the oil cooler mounted and more wiring out of the way.
I don't recall if I posted but I have a 40 dodge sedan gas tank in stainless I polished at the shop last week. Here some close up pics. The black cap will have a logo inserted from MCW.
Yes, drift track, I just modified it with some aluminum pistons for looks. Always loved the mechanical aspect of that type of shifting. Keeps you on check!
Thank you lol, yes when people saw this thing pulling up to my house originally they were asking if I had a fever... lol There was always a master plan for that poor soul from the first time I saw her.
I thought about wrapping the tank with the copper, once I get the official tank back I will mock up and see that idea still on the run.
Hey man, you got my number come by the shop anytime...
Will do, should be in 2-3weeks or so hard to get my schedule and Eddie's (Hemi Haines) to match the man never stop building HEMI's for God sakes lol
Thank you, definitely appreciate the support..... Not a whole lot of people here in S. Florida can understand what I am building lol they just like it because it is shiny!...
cool man, yea ill def give you a call soon so i can check out the shop
