Not HAMB New - But new to the Great White North (Vancouver, BC)!

Hey everyone. I just finished up college and am taking a gap year prior to grad school just for fun and decided to move to Vancouver. I just got approved for my 1 year holiday visa/work permit so its official! I will be living somewhere in Vancouver with a buddy who attends UBC, but I don't know much about the area or the hot rod scene and would love to meet some people or go to weekly shows or meet ups if they exist.

And as a Canucks fan I am excited to live in Vancouver.

 

So Canadians don't like me?
