Then it is not likely a drive shaft.

Have you changed anything recently? Is your dampner coming apart?

Check the usual suspects, motor and trans mounts, harmonic damper. If it appears to be nothing, it might be. Sometimes you just get a vibration for some unknown reason, a certain harmonic gets to the car. My 98 Mustang does it

check exhaust tubes probly rubbing somewhere- a mount, collector @ the headpipe or somthing could have come loose, this is the most likely

Strange vibration when parked, is it the driveshaft?

Look at the dead bird, no not up in the sky, on the GROUND.

If the car sat for 4 years and it only does it at 700-950 RPM, maybe it's just running rough and needs a carb rebuild.

It might be easier if you told everybody what you did to your vehicle before you went on your 425 mile trip. Did the vibration start after your trip or did start after sitting for 4 years.

Did you forget some zeros? You might have a problem if it was 7000-9500 rpm. Put in a bigger cam so it will have more vibration, its a Hot Rod not a Rolls Royce!! Then again you could change out that cracked flexplate ( only a guess ) good luck.
