As far as I know it's still on, they took my entry fee off me, and I've not heard anything different. Hope you guys are coming up this year, its gunna be fun, as always.
hey Nig, we would like to go but we dont want our $$$$ going into Johns hands, if the series has been sold to Chrissi and is still going to be run we will go but from what i have heard that no one is going up under protest for what he was charged for... do you know if Ted and Shannan are running? if we do come we will bring all 3 Hambsters up and we might get our own bracket with 6 cars there for a change
Entry form was posted on the website the day after. As much as I want to run, I've made the decision not to run and speaking with a number of people over the last week many are choosing to do the same. I had even made enquires the week before to sponsor the bracket and to have a trade stall for Bec's new little business. Add this to both our entries I would have been coughing up $1600 in up front fees. I'll be keeping that in my pocket for now and planning forward for Warwicks Six Banger Nationals in September.Time will tell if the series continues. Hope it's not the end for Hambsters. I won't be attending or supporting this event due to the circumstances. But i'll be heading up to Warwick on the Saturday with the Pugster for the bracket meeting before the Six Banger event on Sunday.
It was worse than that , it was his step daughter he raped over a number of years, and Chrissi knew about it and stood by him instead of supporting her own flesh and blood. Chrissi shouldn't have the opportunity to keep business going for when he gets out!! I wouldn't support her if I was living in Aus.

How good is this!!!!! This time last week I was worried about our future. Now within a couple of days of Hambster networking we have 6+ cars for Warwick. Get the word out, the Hambsters are coming to town!!!!!
Hey Steve, yes I have been in touch with Ian, the new owner of Pete's car. He has done a bunch of work to it, repainted, lightened, and he's rearing to go. I would bet he'll go to Warwick as well.
By all accounts, (With support and assistance from drag racers and good friends) she is doing pretty well now considering her trauma. It has taken years to get this "A hole" to court, they pulled every imagineable stunt to hide his dispicable acts and avoid the "day in court". The jury just didn't buy the bullshit. There were many more charges , the 16 convictions were representative of something that went on for around 9-10 years from age 8 or so. He also owned Nitro magazine which I understand has been closed down , however there is another mag which should also be boycotted.
i never like the guy it was just something about him ,i also gave him what for up at willowbank 2 years ago, then 2 weeks ago that new mag showed up in the post.... we used it to light the fire one night
Going to the Winternationals re-run tomorrow and have already lined up through a mate a meeting with Chris Loy of Warwick Dragway to have a chat about the September bracket meet. My aim is to talk about the possibility of a Hambster bracket. I'll keep everyone up to date
funny that, i just tried to ring him, see if the all the HAMB/GR cars can run on the Sunday as a exhibition class and us 6 bangers run Modified as well, would be good for dad to get some runs in the new car... between you me and QQ we will keep the class alive
Yes Scott, it's the middle of winter down under at the moment, up here in the tropical north where I live it is a very mild winter though.
