The 1st owner had a change of heart shortly after purchasing it from Charlie Yapp (S.O.S.S) and then posted it for re-sale in the magazine. Unfortunately I have not been able to post pictures here, but will either send them to your email address or to your cell phone if so desired. Guess I'm technically challenged.... Some have asked me which model ; I, II, or III , and truthfully I have no Idea and I' can't find a marking anywhere on the casting. Back then there were 2 different compressions available in either 7 to 1 or 8 to 1 - and I don't remember which one, but to guess then I might have grabbed it immediately for the 7 to 1 in favor of my older engine... but not sure. It's been years since Charlie ran any of the cast iron Lyons, and at last count they were listed at $650, and that was way back when.
