A guy I know that builds quite a few traditional rods here in Long Beach has stumbled upon an NOS in-the-crate 1959 235 6... Not that I want it (I'm still all over the Hudson 308), but do you think that's a rarity, or is it too conventional to get excited about?

Us inliner guys still get a boner over things like that. [IMG] [IMG]

Check the casting Nos. or the bore size to see if it is a 235 as a 261 would be worth a hell of a lot more.

It really depends on what you mean by "NOS"...is it GM brand new NOS, or, far more likely, rebuild house NORS?

Even if it's a rebuild house job, it's worth snagging if the price is right.

He says it has been in his cousin's posession since around 1959, and is in the GM Crate... Not sure why he bought it in the first place... He mumbled something about wanting a grand for it, but I could be wrong...
