Got myself a cheap 1937 Fordoor as part of a trade.Allways liked the Station Wagons, but never seen one.The -37 was bad enough to be cut up.Brought it home in boxes, been apart for maybe 20 years.Someone must have made a rough street rod of it in the eighties.
So I bought me a three and a bandsaw, made me some moonshine and put my Tom Waits collection on random play.Checked arround on the internet and found Mr.Sawsall's blog.Read that one and other stuff I found before I went my workshop and cut the roof of the poor sedan.

You better go easy on that moonshine if you are going to turn that sedan into a woodie with that log...

Lots of work to get the rear fenders back to shape and make them fit a woodie lookalike.I dont have any experience with any woodworking and I'm just going to try this once,so I wanted to do it with just basic hand tools and my trusted finetuned bandsaw.

He's in Norway, they built wooden boats, rowed across the Atlantic and back home, and gave a hand drawn map to Columbus, I don't see a Station Wagon as being a problem build. Bob

Are you going to follow the pattern for a stock '37 wagon, or do something subtly but noticeably different enough for the Coachbuilt early Fords thread?

    I'm using ash.It was a barnfind,bought a stable of 3 and 4" thick boards for 250 usd.
I dont have any measurements or patterns from a real woodie,so this is kind of a coachbuild.Lowered the windshield 1 3/4" too.
The rear end of the body was finnished today.Put it together tomorrow and post some pics.
    Thanks for all the comments!
