If you were in Ohio you would be getting a ticket in the mail as all the cops are to busy to run radar. We have cameras that take your photo along with your car and license plate. Try arguing with that.

"I am wondering if Sheriffs in Nevada are required to have their parking lights on or anything like that like that did a while ago in California. OR if there is any local law or anything I can get the Sheriff on for hiding in that area or in a speed trap in general or parking in the casino's lot (if that is their property)? I know this has been a speed trap many times and also if I can reference another HAMBers case that was able to get out of it then that would only benefit me."

In Texas a few years back, they decided to do something about speed traps here.

Put a limit on how much of a city's revenue can come from traffic tickets.

Did not put them all out of business but hurt some plenty and we do not have near as many now.

Good luck and take care, K

do you have an Indiana license? if so, call the IN BMV/DMV and find out if a ticket from NV will show up on your record. you still should pay it but it may not show up on your MVR and cause your insurance rates to rise.

  4. I got a ticket for crossing against a don't walk in Calif once. I didn't pay it because I just don't walk fast and didn't figure it was a valid ticket.

Anyway I had relocated to Missouri and had my mail forwarded and the state of Calif wanted my drivers license because I didn't pay the ticket or 165 dollars. No brainer I sent them my license, 15 dollar license v 165 ticket the license was obviously worth more to them than it was to me. :D

I have come to the brilliant realization that cops/lawyers(prosecutors)/judges are basically , all "in it together". It's where their pay check comes from, and their own job security. But, some are nice about it and some are "not-so-nice". And don't try and tell me otherwise; it took me too many years, and too many "fights" to come to this conclussion. The "law" can be pretty unrealistic at times, especially when we "think" we're right. But, the law is the law, is the law, is the law. I'm not going to get into what I think of the PEOPLE who are sworn to uphold the law, but refer back to my first two sentences. It's either get a lawyer to do your fighting, be prepared to lose right from the start, or just pay the ticket; no matter how YOU look at it, the deck is really stacked against you from the start. I'd like to...I interviewed one time, but got turned away.

I had ate some baked beans for lunch, and a hard boiled egg, because I was in a hurry.

During the interview, I couldn't help from letting some really good ones rip.

Well that brought tears to Jay's eyes, and he said he said if the interview was going to proceed, we'd have to do one of those Man on the Street type of interviews. But that wouldn't work that day, because they were having a smog alert there in Burbank. He didn't want to be hauled in by the EPA, for having a brown cloud hovering over the set.

So....That's why you won't get to see me with Jay Leno.

    But thanks for asking though:D

Because, when we have a hot rodders get together, there is camaraderie amongst them. There is the sharing of good times, good jokes, good friendships.

We share our Love, We share our sorrows, We also share our Laughter.

The HAMB, the Hokie Ass Message Board, is an extension of providing a means to share those good times, good friendships and good jokes sometimes, when it is not possible to share these things in person.

If you are only interested in my car, and not who I am and what I stand for......Well....
