I have not been active on here for a long time, but I wanted to let you all know the
Nor Cal Roadster is coming up next month, Sat July 9th.

Here is a link to a well documented account of the run a few years ago.

    http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...n-california-roadster-reliability-run.721486/

I hope those of you that want to go and understand what it is about can come out
for a day of driving around old hot rods.
See the rules below. And if you want to go, contact me and I will tell you where we will start. There is no charge or registration, just doing it for the love of driving.

This is what I will be driving.... IMG_0429.JPG
This is my old 45 day special, which I documented the build on here years ago.

Well I tore the car apart and redid a bunch of stuff, and painted it, this time I took my time
and did it in 60 days ;)

If you are replying to this to say you are going, it may be nice to include a picture of your car,
so I can know who you are when you get there.
And it seems like everyone wants pictures for everything these days.

I can't wait!!! This is the one thing I look forward to every year. This and the regular reliability run. This truly is an experience that should be had by the true hot toddler who loves to drive there cars.

This car would be more than welcome to go on the run I do later in the year in September.
That run is called the Northern California Reliability Run, and is open to all
bodies up to 1940 and any motors, trannies, etc.
That is a cool car, and I'd love to see it out on the road in September.
you can search the Reliability Run on here and there is plenty of info.

Hey Nobey, good to hear from you! And I'm glad you like the old "54b", we try to keep her out on the road so she doesn't get cranky!
Yea, Dave's runs are ALWAYS a good time, come join us.

  22. Hey folks, if your rig qualifies this is a must do run, Dave puts on the BEST runs. He finds the best roads Nor Cal has to offer and tops it off with great eatin/drinkin spots. And great people. Can't go wrong.

Too many modern features on my car for this run, but I'm definitely gonna come down to see everyone, see the cars, and see you off. I'll go on the run September 3rd. 4th & Sea 010.JPG

Anyone who's driving have an empty passenger seat and need a navigator? I don't drool too much, have reasonable bladder control, can read a map or driving instructions, and I can take pictures.
