Originally built in North Jersey by Tony Bruskivage and Don Von Dwingelo. It still exists in Ill. but the present owner thinks it's made out of gold
I grew up in the 60's and a lot of the cars built in the later years were butt ugly, early customs looked better. They got to the point where people were changing for the sake of change, not to improve the style. This car is a good example of that.
If you think a custom car is supposed to look better than the stocker it was, that isn't a successful effort at building a custom. And if the owner puts a high price on it because it started out as a classic two-seater T-Bird, guess what? It isn't really that any longer.
........You are so right. I think that's always been my problem with many customs. That T-Bird is so out of proportion that it's a travesty of styling. JMO
