Greetings from Washington. I dig cool cars, always have. I've had quite a few myself that have come and gone. I never have had a hot rod ( rat rod style ) that I have planned and built myself, the old fashion way, with help of friends and networking. I think I have a great start with my newer acquired 1952 Buick Special, 2door coupe.
So, got a lot of questions....

Hi and welcome! For future reference, the use of the words "rat rod" will stir up some serious anger on this site. People take offense to it, mostly because it conjures images of poorly built junk cars. Use the term "traditional" and all will go well for you! There's a ton of stuff to learn from here!
