Art & Inspiration Norm Skulls.............

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Harrison, Jan 26, 2009.

  1. I just had to have one. I owe Norm a huge "THANK YOU". It is hard to believe someone so nice is capable of such an evil piece of work. I need to say thanks too to Doc. & FlatTopBob for their help & advice.

It arrived Saturday & to say that I was pleased would be a huge understatement. I talked to Norm last night & we both agree that we're cheating ourselves if we don't also add a tongue. It's going back to Lead Hill in a couple of weeks.

I couldn't resist posting a few pics though.

I spent this past weekend at the GNRS bumping into Normie Poo around every corner and copping hugs. What a GREAT guy!

Congrats man. I know how hard it is to patiently wait while Normie does his magic. He told me he was going for maximum evil on this one. That thing is down right scary.

I wouldn't EVER drink ANYTHING from that beer stein 'cause no matter what anybody says you could never be sure what's been in there before even though you know it an all new piece by the Normster. AAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

  26. Good one Rich.... ;)

Thanks for all your help Doc. He actually got it done sooner than I expected. The wait was still tough though. I can see how a man could want a whole collection. I love this thing. The tongue is going to put it over the top. When I mentioned it Norm just started laughing..... said he was thinking the same thing when he packed it to ship.

Jim, is it true that you ordered that to go in your old '38? If that's true I'll gladly pay postage if you'll forward it to me. Seeing as how the '38 now resides in my shop I'll make sure to keep the thermostat turned up high enough to protect the wood. In fact I'll keep it here in the house until spring and the '38 hits the road again.
PM me for my shipping address.

norm only made one beer stein and it took him a few years to get it done.

but you will have to wait for my family to have my estate auction to have a chance at it.

i'll try to find my pictures of the whole process from tree stump to stein.

but here are a few more shots
